Following a proposal that laid out the team’s purpose and budget requirements, the Uniswap community has voted for the inauguration of the Uniswap Foundation. The foundation will receive $74 million USD, with an initial $20 million USD disbursement, to support future endeavors. The funds will come out of Uniswap’s $3 billion USD treasury.

Telegram founder, Pavel Durov, has hinted at launching a marketplace to auction usernames and addresses. This is another move by the messaging app to adopt elements of Web3. The Telegram team also plans to create a platform that allows for the tokenization of usernames, using contracts similar to ERC-721 tokens.
