Dacxi Chain Update — August 2024

It’s been a huge few weeks for Dacxi Chain with significant developments across a number of key areas. Here is an update:
New Supporters including US signed to GECA (Global Equity Crowdfunding Alliance)
Formed to bring the industry together to collaborate and explore equity crowdfunding across jurisdictions and borders, GECA is securing a growing number of supporters and geographies. Since our previous update, GECA has signed a number of additional equity crowdfunding platforms, including multiple US-based platforms. Expanding the supporter base into the US is a hugely exciting development, and sees the alliance now include the US, Canada, UK, Europe, Brazil, and Singapore. Check out the new Supporters list here.
First Global Industry Forum to be held by GECA in August
GECA will hold its very first global industry forum on August 20th, 2024. An invitation-only event, market-leading equity crowdfunding platforms from the US, Canada, UK, and Europe will gather to share insights and discuss different approaches to progressing cross-border crowdfunding. This is the first initiative of its kind and a significant milestone for the global industry. We look forward to sharing some of the highlights from this hugely exciting event.
European Crowdfunding Network Industry Conference — Dacxi Chain to contribute a headline address
The leading crowdfunding industry body in Europe, the European Crowdfunding Network will hold its annual conference in Belgium on September 27 & 28, 2024. This is an important event for the European industry, and brings platforms from across the region together to share experiences and explore ideas around the future of the industry. This year, Dacxi Chain will give a headline address, leading a dedicated Q&A on the future of cross-border crowdfunding. Visit Euro Crowd here.
First Deals for Dacxi Chain, Additional Partners in Discussion
The first deals to be executed via Dacxi Chain have further progressed, with platform partners undertaking final preparations. By design, the first deals were intended to go live between two established platform partners in the UK and Europe. We’re pleased to confirm that other platforms in these same jurisdictions have now indicated interest in also participating. As a result, Dacxi Chain is in discussion with multiple leading UK and EU platforms with a view to expanding the number of first deals to go live.
Dacxi Blockchain Project — Progressing to Plan
The Dacxi Chain blockchain project continues. The tech team has made good progress in the weeks since we announced the commencement of the project. Importantly, the project is on track for version 1.0 completion in Q4.
Dacxi Coin Upgrade
In our previous update, we announced a Dacxi Coin upgrade. This upgrade forms part of the Dacxi Chain blockchain project and allows for multiple future use cases supported by our very own blockchain technology. As we approach completion of the blockchain development project, further information about the Dacxi Coin upgrade will be shared. The upgrade is a fundamental part of the Dacxi Chain vision and will be an exciting milestone for all coin holders.
